Topic: Need to vent? Posted: 07/February/2005 at 9:34am |
Edulinx
Maryanne xxx-xxx-xxxx or even better Ralph not sure of his
extension t but I am sure Maryanne can give it to you. They run
the administration services side. Have been doing it for
years.
Enjoy!
Say hi to them for me!!!
Note from Administrator:
After this was posted, and a rather strong word with the VP of CIBC Communications...and phoning the number above - I got a call from Edulinx. The person I spoke to (Mr. Emmerson) assured me that they want to hear about the problems and that they are working to resolve the service issues.
I agreed to remove the phone number and am doing so on good faith that they will do what they can and promised to do to fix the problems. I had a long conversation and pointed out some problems that they were not aware of. I was advised that if you have elevated your problem and there are serious problems or no resolution or returned calls, contact me at webmaster_at_canadastudentdebt.ca and I will provide you with further contact info...
That being said, if you want to vent to CIBC... you can Google with the terms corporate CIBC 980 - That will get you the CIBC corporate head office number!
Remember that CIBC no longer has ownership of Edulinx, but Edulinx still administers CIBC loans as a client of CIBC so there is still a direct relationship.
They created the Edulinx monster, simply disowning it isnt enough.... Wouldn't work if you had a teenager... :)

MaryAnne is a fine choice to call, indeed. She listens and will escalate matters as required. Moh is who I place my bets on.

Is this the Ralph we are talking about?

I have noticed that they have removed their pictures except for the president. Looking at their job descriptions, I laughed out loud.

That's him!!!! Not to be cynical but these are all CIBC folk, so
if you think changes are coming you are far mistaken. They have
been trained CIBC and breath CIBC. As much as they wish to
portray an unbias side they are always about the bottom line....PROFIT
AT ALL COST!!!!!!

Ralph is not someone that will talk to people especially the several hundred thousand of those who have been wronged by Edulinx. The complaints are reviewed by him - if they are in his jurisdiction. The problem is that these upper level figures are there to run the machine rather than to discuss issues about complaints. That is why they have the customer assistance and response units. So, for many people, good luck getting ahold of Ralph.

In regards to Mark's inserted post above,
980 is the number CIBC uses for their numbers at the head office which has been in use for ages (i.e. 416-980-xxxx). They also use 861.

Hey Doug and Bob,
Since you are so interested in checking this website out so often, why don't you guys get USERNAMES and JOIN THE DISCUSSION. This would be an excellent opportunity to show off that great dedication to customer service CIBC and Edulinx are so proud of! You would also be able to show off your sleek customer relations skills to your buddies on CCW-5! They will be so jealous.
