The best way for me to make contact with the institutions is via email.  Royal Bank has been no problem and makes contact with me.  National Student Loans has also. However, I can't find an email address for Edulinx or CIBC. CIBC has emailed me in the past but I dont have a current address.

Thanks for your help!  I just joined this group and have already read lots of helpful posts!

Written letters are usually the best form of proof, with signature on the letter and signature when mail recieved.  It's just common business practice and appears more formal.

E-mails can be typed quickly, whereas a properly typed and printed letter will take more time, hence why they are taken more seriously than an e-mail.
