Student debt, and other variable forms of financial crisis are a virtual reality for so many people in Canada. After taking into account the problems associated with economy, the ever increasing costs of living, or the trends associated with the lack of alternatives available to people, these obstacles are just some of the heavy clutter that obstruct one's pathway to recovery.

No matter how well you plan and how well you execute your plan, you are bound to meet with disappointments, adversity and failure along the way to your ultimate triumph. Adversity is what gives you the opportunity to develop your "inner" resources of character and courage - thus making adversity a great teacher .. on the same platform comes from experience. It will test you and make you stronger, but you have to hang in there and not give up.

Thousands of years ago in China, Confucius wrote,"Our gratest glory is not in never failing, but in rising every time we fall." As long as you know there will be times when youwill fail, then youwillknow that failing is simply part of the process. Take it in stride and press forward - no matter what may seem to be too difficult, or seem too impossible. Someone named Harriet Beecher-Stowe once said,"When you think it is never going to change, press on a bit further, and that is when the tide changes."

Johnny reminds me so much of Suze Orman. She closes every show with the saying, "People first, then money, then things".  It is a great comfort knowing that people are out there empathetic to those trying to overcome adversity and will to help.

Johnny's a good guy, so is Mark.  I had never had the occasion to speak or write with them directly but I appreciate their clear and knowledgeable posts.

What this forum respresents is a community -- a community of the slighted, of those who ae lost.  I believe good things come from the exchange of feelings, information and spirit here.
