Hello, just wondering if anyone knows how the NSLSC defines international internships for RAP eligibility?

The only information available on the Canlearn website about this is the RAP application at
http://www.canlearn.ca/eng/common/documents/forms/repayment_assistance.pdf

- If you are a Member of the Canadian Armed Forces who is stationed abroad or if you are participating in an international internship program for a maximum time period of one year, you qualify as a Canadian resident.

- You must provide a letter from the employer/program that outlines the start and end dates of the term

I would suggest contacting the NSLSC to verify what the criteria are... and take notes and note the date and time you called, and who you speak to. Then call the next day and see if you get the same info.
