My loan has finally been rehabilitated to the NSLC.  My last day of study was in April 2004.

My loan has been in collections for 8 years.

I have applied for RAP.  Based on the eligibility checker I qualify.

Here's the question.  I see lots of places that say that student loan borrowers with the NSLC will not have a loan debt 15 years past their last day of study.

My loan says there are 177 months left in the term and that would bring me to 24 years with a student debt.  I am just wondering if the remainder of what I owe should be amortized for the time making 15 years of if they can keep the loan going for more than 15 years?

There websites also states that the rap changes after 10 years from the last date of study and at that time part of your monthly payment is paid by the nslc on interest and principal.  If you know of this please tell me.
