My provincial student loans have been sent to EOS collection agency. I am trying to negotiate a repayment plan with them and they have sent me a form to fill in my financial information, I guess to prove that I a am only capable of paying what I am proposing on a monthly basis.
My question is, the form is asking for my spouse's income. I am in a common-law relationship where my spouse has offered to pay most of our hosuehold bills so that I can get my debt under control. How do I reflect that on this form?
Does the collection agency have a right to ask for my spouse's income?

Thanks!
