I have student loan from Bank of Nova scotia (Federal) that I took in 1997.

The loan went in default status in 2002. Yet Bank of Nova Scotia had not been reported the loan to Equifax or Transuniion.

I feel that based on the agreement they can't report to credit bureau.

is it correct?

What agreement? The loan agreement?
