Both my Wife and I had student loans. We decided to pay of as much as possible the student loans. To date we have paid mine off and 25% of my wife. We will be having a baby and we tried to get RAP. Well we cannot. We are only asking for RAP while my wife is on maternity leave but since I will be working two jobs and with my wife's Unemployment insurance we are making too much. Once she goes back to work I will be working 3 pm to 11 pm so that we do not have daycare cost.

The interesting thing is that if I have one job and student loans then we could get help.

I am gratefull that we able to get loans to help us with our schooling but now I would like some help to get through the first year with a new born.

is it defaulted? Have you used up all 30 months of IR
