I have outstanding student loans that I haven't dealt with yet, and am currently in arbitration with ICBC about a car accident. I didn't file my taxes this year, and now my lawyer is requesting permission to access my income tax returns info. I don't know what to do. Can the student loan situation in any way affect my car accident claim?

I can't imagine how it would affect that aspect of your life. If there is a judgment anchopred into place against you I don't know. That is something your lawyer can easily answer for you.
