I'm in the process of ordering my credit reports. I do this every year, but I have special interest this year as I plan on having a pile of old (more than six year old) accounts removed--time to line up those ducks as I'm looking to (eventually) buy a house, and with all the student loan BS I reckon I'd best start on this as early as possible!!

I think I'm pretty clear on how to, in theory, wipe the old stuff off but I was wondering if anyone could point me to the relevent legislation regarding credit bureau reporting? I want to make sure that I'm exercising every last right and privilege I'm entitled to but I'm not even sure where to look....

Anyone got any ideas or, better yet, a link?
