Subject: Financial Statement

My loan is with CBV in Calgary and I have been paying 300.00 every month for the past 18 months. Once again I get the document requesting I fill out all my financial information and now they have started calling my house, just leaving a name and number. Do I have to fill out these statements every year? Is there anyway around this? Is this an attempt to get me to pay more money to them?

Thanks for all your helpSmile

Another question, do I have to increase my payment to this collection agency or leave it as is? The amount that I am paying per month was what I had originally agreed to pay before I got behind in my payments and having them sent to the collection agency.

Yes its a ploy to see where you are at....they may demand more loot for you but really if you can afford to keep the 300  going then do so....if you can't then they will want  to see why....and the game starts all over again

sorry for the "yes" part of my reply...I was referring to the "attempting to get more money out of you" part....

I seen your article on this yesterday. Unfortunately, I sent mine back in to the "wondeful folks" @ CBV in Calgary. Wish I had seen your post before I mailed it on Monday.

I do have an extra form that they sent (if that helps at all), I always make them send it twice first gets lost in mail...oops lol Wink

However, I exclude my spouses income from the form, they have no business to know her financial status and income. Angry

I've read through my consolidation agreement and there is a clause in there allowing them to collect personal info on me. But I doubt if this extends to the collection agency and could be a considered a blanket endorsement of all the info they want to collect on me...
