I have a student loan in alberta, when I finished school I was keeping up on my payments then I lost my job and found out I was expecting. So I contacted student loans for the interest relief program they sent me the forms to fill out and I did and sent them back. Within 3 weeks they sent me a letter stating that, when I filled out the form and when they recived it was 30 days so it was invalid and to resend another. The next thing you know I had a collection agency calling me for payment. Now I have been informed that my income tax and GST are being taken. For a single mother who has been on EI for the last yr I am finding this issue hard to deal with. Does anyone have any ideas if so please HELP ME!!
