I started to receive letter (3 total) from ARC starting this past September. So i call etc and told the person that i want to take care of this , my loan was for just over $2700. so i told "Wendy" that i can give her $1000 right now, which i did. She told me that if i did that that she would drop my loan to $2396 great i though. Then i received a letter 2weeks later saying that i have been uncoroporative and need to contact them. I figure i have been pretty coroperative and even sent another $300. Now i just received a letter saying that if i do not contact them within 24hrs that i will be taken to court because i have not contacted them or paid the amount in full. But when i spoke to "Wendy" i told her point blank i don't have the full amount but this is what i have right now which is what i have give. My question is how am i being uncoroperative?? i have given about half of the money that i owe in a month.....i am confused. If i had money growing on trees i would give it to them to have them leave me alone. I want to have this done with but i don't get how i am being uncoroperative by paying?? Now i don't want to call back. What should i do ?? wait and give what i can or call ?? i dont' want to cause trouble but i am making every effort to pay this loan off.

They are saying that you are uncooperative because you are not jumping through the hoops that they are presenting to you. They want you to do what they demand - and if you don't, you are labeled uncooperative.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Unbeleivably frustrating when you try to do the right thing yet the collection agency people make it look like you are the bad guy when you have every intension on paying..
