I had student loans with the Royal Bank only because things changed and I wasn't allowed to take them through my own bank. I thought I only owed $1000 left on my Sask SL. I got a phone call from the royal bank saying that they had takin the money out of someone elses account for the past 3 1/2 years. Now they want me to pay $1000 up front and then make payments to catch up the arrears or pay $3500 to clear it up. It was there mistake to start with and all I asked for was a simple one payment of $100 a month and pay that till the loan is cleared up, they didn't like my idea.
Now they have put me in collection, the lady got mad because i was swearing, it wasn't at her, i was trying to explain my situation. Ok maybe i should watch my mouth but anyways, she told me to try and get a loan from my bank, get my parents or brother to co-sign, i said my parents are not in a position to be able to and she wanted to know my whole life history, i kept telling her it was none of her business. She said i can either tell her or she will find out everything she needs the next day including what i'm wearing. When I tried to ask her a question, she said can we finish one thing at a time, I politely ask her if she was only able to handle one thing at a time and she hung up on me.
If anyone has any ideas what I can do with this please let me know.
She also said she will just tell the royal bank to sue me.
