To anyone in my shoes,
I have a huge student debt-and have not secured a job that would reflect the debt   incured. While I was going to school, I was a single sole support parent of 2 teenage boys. I am turning 50 this year--and because of this debt--have been hospitalized for anxiety/depression. I am still on interest relief--but that status will change at some point--and I have no idea how I am going to be able to live. I'll likely become homeless--and this is not an exaggeration. I remain in this city where the jobs are few--and the job I'm working at in no way reflects the education I received-because I still have my 2 sons--who are close to moving on their own-but not yet there--and one son who is stil completing his gr. 12.
In the U.S.-they have programs to help cut student debt. What's wrong with our govt.? I would love to hear from anyone else--who may be in the same boat. Best..Mayrose

After interest relief you may qualify for debt reduction... so there is some hope...
