Hi everyone!

I paid my CIBC student loan in full in May 2005. I just checked my credit report online and I noticed that there has been no mention of this.

Shouldn't the collection agency notify the credit bureau? It's been over a year so I assumed they would have done it and I didn't think about it. I'm annoyed now.

How do I get this fixed? I'm out of the country, overseas and the time difference really hurts my chances of talking to them on the phone. So I thought I could mail them a letter and send emails. Do they have a legal obligation to report to the credit bureaus?
