Hi there. I graduated in 2001, and have never applied for Interest Relief or defaulted on any payments. I will be starting Maternity Leave on December 1. According to the Interest Relief application forms, I need to specify the household income for 3 months. I know that I will not qualify now, but I think my husband and I might qualify once I am on my leave and my pay gets cut to $413 a week (or at latest in January, when his loan payments would start being due since he graduated in June). So, do I still need to wait until February to apply so that our last 2 months� income will include the Mat Leave benefits? Or is there a way for me to avoid having to pay my loan payments in December and January? Do I need to include my husband's income? I assume so, but thought I would ask :)
