My consumer propoal will be completed July 2007 (I know iti s not the immediate future), I have a few issues/question:

My wife and I want to purchase a house, but the Bank refuses to put me on Title because of my CP.  My credit score is about 560 and my wife's is 670.  I am able to get help for my downpayment from family.  I am considering putting the house name in my wife's and mother-in-law's name for the time being.

1. How long will have to wait until my credit has cleared up enough to have the house in my name.

2.  Am I better off waiting until I can buy a house in my name (maybe 2010?)?

3.  Have people faced a situation simular to mine(house purchase), how have they got around the issues, comments would be appreciated.

4.  This is especially for Johnny.  Even when my CP is complete, I am sure to be expecting a call from HRDC for the collection of the survived portion of my OSL and CSL, but I want to try and make arrangements before hand so that I can start making payments after my CP has been complete.  How far in advance do I need to contact you etc, so that I can avoid the dreaded collection calls?

Amer,

You could succeed in your goals here but you have to be very careful - and most importantly - be able to navigate yourself through it all.

I can see how things could work out but I would need to really assess your situation to make an accurate call.

You can call me whenever you like. No worries. Just don;t stress it and make any moves without first seeking help.

Johhny which goals are you referring to, my house ownership goals or my student loan debts?  When is the best time to call you with reference to each.  For student loans, am i better served to call you a few months before my proposal is due to be completed?  Just trying to plan things out.  Like you said, I want to be careful in what I am doing.  My more immediate goal is getting a house in my name despite my CP and my FICO.  Can you help with regards to this?  What would you have to know?
