I badgered RBC several times to try to get a statement of what I've
paid, what was owed, what was left, etc etc. I was told that I
would have to PAY FOR IT. It's something like 30 bucks. For
my own information! I was told that they don't release that
information.  We should be entitled to that information. Can we file a complaint? Was anyone ever able to get this info? |

Be persistent! Chances are you will have to pay for it....I was late updating my bank book and they (CIBC) wanted me to pay for the statements....I said I dont need them "that" bad..hahaaa.... You could always talk to the Ombudsman (or whatever it is in the States..hmmm) for that bank, sharp. Plead your situation...see where you get!! Good luck!! |

Johnny, isn't there some way we can demand the information, or did we sign our rights away when we signed the promissory note? I tell them when I call it's my information and I have a right to it, but apparently I do not! All in all, I think RBC has been ok, but now that they're outsourcing, I have a feeling the transition is going to get ugly. |
