hi guys,

my monthly payments are coming along well, but i still have this collector who calls me at home. somehow (i do not know how) he got my work phone number, and asked if he could contact me at work. i simply said no, it wastes company time, i can deal with this at home.

so my supervisor answers the phone at frickin' 7:15 this morning and it's this collector. there i sat on the phone for 45 minutes arguing over another $40 a month (discussing bad credit in front of your boss isn't very cozy). is this considered harassment? has this happened to anyone else? i don't like these guys tracking me down and demanding my money AND time.

thanks!

Free,

Collectors access employment information from your credit report. In most cases, it is reported there in big black font.

Secondly, they are not allowed to caontact you by phone until 8:00 AM to discuss your account. In some provinces, the rule is 8:30 AM.

This happens to lots of people, unfortunately.

If you need help, let us know. Otherwise, keep us posted!

Johnny
