| i am new in here, i don't know if this is the right place to post this... i've been receiving a recorded call EVERYDAY saying some kind of credit company entered in contract with some kind of company, asking to contact 1-866-801-1526. I read some previous posts in this forum on this number, but, is this a scam or not? cause i do not have to pay my student loan yet, and i don't recall any tickets or fines that i haven't pay... i am worried about this. |

A search on the net suggests that this number is an automatic dialer calling you...
Likely CBCL Mark Be careful about "not having to pay your student loan yet" perhaps you've been defaulted without your knowing it. ok, i finally called that number and the guy who answered the call wasn't really patient and with baaaaaaaaaaddddd attitude. he first asked me the phone number with the area code (he didn't even present himself or anything like that) i asked him what sorta company it is, and he answered so fast that i couldn't understand, so i asked him again. but he was said "this is the last time i am asking for your phone number and area code"  so, i gave it to him and he said that they were looking for "xx" i said nobody in this household with this name, he repeated the name again, i gave him the same answer again. He said "i'll take your number out of the list" and hanged up. ????????? i still donno what's happening, but anyway, today, i didn't get that call again.
