Anyone who has faxed forms to CIBC may have had their info faxed to the wrong place. I believe that they were giving out the wrong fax numbers to people. This comes from the fact that a company in the states was recieving confidential faxes of banking information. This was only brought to light approximately a year or so ago by the company going to the media because CIBC would not do anything after being informed of this problem many times.

When I brought up wrong fax numbers in my dealings with NSLC they immediately removed the derogotory information from my credit report.

If people can start listing the fax numbers that they are given to send information to. Then we may be able to track some of these numbers down and see if they are part of the problem and get some ammo against NSLC and CIBC.

The numbers needed most are the one's where you faxed information in but they say they never got it.
