Finally got all the material needed to send in my debt
relief package for disability to HRDC. The bank tells
me it takes HRDC six months to a year to process
claims! Is this true? Is there anything I can do to
speed things up? Since my interest relief is
exhausted it seems quite likely that my loan will
default if the debt isn't forgiven soon.

If I default on my loan does this endanger by loan
forgiveness?

Java is right.

But call HRDC and push them for info. or http://www.canlearn.ca - www.canlearn.ca . Push them to help you.  Once you default, you're toast. You can't get LF after that. Be creative and do whatever it takes.

Is it possible to get Loan Forgiveness after you default?  Even if it's been 6 years?
