Hi there,
I have some alleged OSAP debts (provincial and federal) from the 2005-2008 period. I believe the alleged debts are in default and have a last activity of around the year 2010.
CRA has eaten up a large part of the alleged debts (I guess they have the alleged federal portion - the alleged provincial portion is with a private collector and still on my credit report) through a lien on my tax returns. I haven't filed taxes in years in order to avoid having to unnecessarily pay for the alleged debts.
My question (to Johnny or whoever else is also the resident expert in these matters) is whether or not these alleged debts can be taken care of through statute-barring? Bankruptcy is not an option. If there is anyone that can help me take care of this alleged nuisance, including consulting, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you in advance, Samsam
