I won't even get into the multitude of issue I have with the Scotia Gov. Student Loan Centre, except to say that it should not be this difficult to give them money. All of my loans are in good standing. I pay them on time every month. And yet, there always seem to be mistakes made by them, mostly with my Ontario loan (as they refuse to make it payable online...the branches make mistakes..and now pre-authorized payments seem to be a problem for them). I've really had enough with the level of incompetence, but it seems to be difficult to get beyond the manager of the call centre (Bibi, or however she spells it). The hours of my life that I have wasted on the phone with these people...it's too much. I want names! It's insulting that they get even 1% of the interest from my loan for providing horrible (or no) service.

Anyone have any ideas? Any success in getting through to people? Email address?
Thanks!

Has someone reply to you  yet Mystery_Diva?

Complaints should be dealt with the branch you are dealing with.  When that does not work, try the President mail mailto:mailpresident@scotiabank.com - mailpresident@scotiabank.com < mailto:mailpresident@scotiabank.com - mailpresident@scotiabank.com >.  They seem to think I am alone in my case.  By the way, in view of the new (but old) documents I have just received from HRSDC/CRA files, I am going to add the bank to my lawsuit I started on Jan. 14, 09.

Good luck.
