just wondering which collection agency this number belongs too?
1-647-438-4305..........they also call from 1-647-438-4317, or 1-647-438-4325.
I googled it but came up with nothing....other than the area code is Ontario.
thanks

I don't know who it is, but I can narrow it down a little more for you.
647 is a Toronto/North York/Scarborough area code. Then again, you probably already assumed Toronto.
I know from experience that CBCL is in North York, but I also know that there are many collection agencies in the area. I'll keep looking and see what I get.

I had some spare time at work this morning, so I hauled out the long distance card and started calling.
First was 647-438-4305. It rang a bit, then I got transferred to voice mail. Result? ''647-438-4305 is not available to take your call. Please leave a message.'' Had I got a real person, I would have asked who they were.
Then I tried 647-438-4317. That one just rang and rang with no answer at all.

Just tried again now. Used a different phone too.
The first number gave the same recording.
The second number gave a busy signal this time around.

Hmm wierd.....well they call everyday at around 7 p.m and never leave a
message....on Sunday they called at 7:20 and i answered, and they asked
for me, and i said "no shes not here, can i take a msg?". Then
they abruptly said "we'll call back. bye!", and have been calling every
day. I am assuming its some sort of credit agency, as it may have
to do with the TD Bank or a gym contract i had.
Everytime they call the last 4 digits are always different. strange.
If you ever get a hold of a voice let me know :)
Thanks so much

Hey, I am getting these calls. Oddly enough I was just at the Toronto Auto Show, and I filled out a ballot for some vacation draw. This number called me last night 647-438-4302, then they called the next night, my wife answered and they asked for me, my wife said no, and asked who it was... they said it was some canadian destinations or something like that (wife cant remember exactly).
ANYWAY... is there any chance you visted the auto show, and filled out a ballot for a travel? There was a bunch of women, and some guys handing out ballots, asking for just your name and number. They were VERY pushy too.

Yeah, they are calling me every night about 7pm. Tonight I finally called them back and left a voice mail threat that I will press harrasment charges if they continue to call. I also said if it was urgent to leave a message as my phone is now being screened for all calls.
I ran the number thru canada411 (3 of them anyway) and all 3 numbers came up from Call-Net. Below is what I was shown
The phone number "(647) 438-4302" is based in Toronto, ON and the registered carrier is Call-Net Communications.

Hey
Yeh that same number is the one that calls me....they call from a
different number all the time...usually the last 4 digits are always
different. Except recently they have not called for about a week
and a half. I was at a wedding show where there was travel
destinations places, and i did fill out some ballots thingys..but i
wasnt at the Toronto Auto Show. Once i answered, and they just
said no we will call back, and abrupty hung up. They never leave
messsages.
Thanks
